When you walk through the winding streets of Jaipur, you’ll feel like you’re in another time, mesmerized by how well the past and present live together. The city’s beautiful castles, forts, and havelis give off an air of grandeur that fits its royal past. Each building tells an interesting story about brave kings, brave queens, and complicated court intrigues that have changed the history of this beautiful land. Let’s look at some of the cool places in Jaipur City:

City Palace:

The City Palace is a primary attraction for tourists. It is right in the middle of the city. The famous palace was made by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. It is a great example of how Rajput, Mughal, and European styles fit together. The palace is now a museum that shows off the big rooms, armor, clothes, and carriages that the state’s kings and queens used. The decorations inside make it easy to see how the royal family of the state lives. The royal family still lives in the city in “Chandra Mahal,” which is part of the complex. The four poles in the complex represent the four seasons that people can easily experience in the country. The lovely carvings on the gates and poles are a treat for art fans to look at.

City Palace is the pride of Jaipur tourism. It stands as a living testament to the grandeur and opulence of Rajasthan’s royal heritage. Today, the City Palace is not only a revered historical monument but also houses museums displaying an exquisite collection of royal artefacts, textiles, weapons, and artworks, giving visitors a glimpse into the lavish lifestyle and cultural heritage of Jaipur’s erstwhile rulers.

Hawa Mahal:

Landmarked called ‘Hawa Mahal’ is near the city palace. The mahal was built up by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799 because according to the Rajputana rules no women are allowed to go out and witness the carnivals on the streets.

So the Maharaja came up with the idea and made the fort to help the ladies to see the world around without getting observed by any foreign men. Tha mahal is compared to lord Krishnas crown because it is made up of pink and redsand stones. The place remains cool and ventilated during the peak summers because of the unique design. The top terrace gives a pious view of the city with the city palace on one hand and siredeori bazar on the other.
