Zoo opening days, entry timings, and admission fees
The zoo is open for all days 8 am to 5 pm but they do have seasonal days and hours too. May 27- Sept 4 the opening hours are 8 am to 5 pm, and May 1 to May 26 it is the same. and September 5 to November 1 it is 8 am to 5 pm. But on weekends that is Saturday and Sunday including holidays Lincoln Park is open from 8 am to 7 pm.
The entrance to the zoo is completely free, there are no admission fees. The zoo’s visitors and members cover 80% of its running expenses. The remaining amount is covered by a Chicago Park District subsidy.
