Day 01: Delhi - Pathankot – Dalhousie
Pickup from Pathankot Railway station and drive to Dalhousie/ drive up to Dalhousie from Delhi, arrival and check inn to Hotel. Dalhousie, The hill station of Dalhousie is full of old world charm and holds lingering echos of the Raj era. It covers an area of 14 sq. km. and is built on five hills - Kathlog, Patreyn, Tehra, Bakrota and Balun. It is named after the British governor General of the 19th century, Lord Dalhousie. Day 03: Dalhousie - Khajjair - Chamba
After breakfast drive to Chamba on the way visit Khajjair, Often called India's Switzerland, the exquisite glade of Khajjiar (1960m) has a circumference of about 5 km. Along its fringes, thick forests of deodar climb the slopes, the snow-line rests above these woods. At Khajjiar there is a 12th century temple dedicated to KhajjI Nag. Within the temple are life size wooden images of the five Pandav brothers. Continue drive to Chamba, arrival and check inn to Hotel, Chamba, Chamba town (915m). stands on the right bank of the river Ravi. As a former princely State, it is one of the oldest in the century and dates back to the sixth century. It is well known for its splendid architecture and a base for numerous excursions. Day 05: Chamba – Dharamshala
After breakfast drive to Dharamshala, arrival and check inn to Hotel. Dhramshala, The High snow clad Dhauladhar ranges form a magnificent backdrop to the hill resort of Dharamsala. This is the principal township of Kangra district and overlooks wide spread of the plains. Day 06: Dharamshala – Manali
After breakfast drive to Manali, arrival and check inn to Hotel. Manali, One day, Varvasvata, the seventh incarnation of Manu found a tiny fish in his bathing water. The fish told him to look after it with devotion as one day it would do him a great service. The seventh Manu cared for the fish till the day it grew so huge that he released it into the sea. Day 07: Manali
After breakfast visit Rohtang Pass, On the road to Keylong is the Nehru Kund, which is a clear water spring scenic spot named after the Late Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. Kothi is a picturesque village and has a thrilling view of the deep gorge through which the Beas swiftly races. The beautiful Rahalla falls are at at altitude of 2500m. A crucial link on the old trade route and still the gateway to trans Himalayan Lahaul, the Rohtang Pass is at height of 3978 m. Hadimba Temple, Built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. Manu Temple, This is dedicated to the sage Manu. Day 08: Manali – Shimla
After breakfast, drive to Shimla, arrival and check inn to Hotel. Shimla, The British empire may have ceased to exit, but its echo lingers on in Shimla (2205m). As the Summer Capital of the British in India, Shimla was the country's focus for the better part of every year and now, is the state capital of Himachal Pradesh. Evening time free at leisure. Over night stay at Shimla.
Day 09: Shimla
After breakfast sightseeing of Shimla, visit Kufri, At 2501m, this is famous for its wide views and ski slopes. An enjoyable walk leads up to the Mahasu Peak. Jakhoo Hill, this is the town's highest peak and a famous point for Shimla's famous views. The summit is crowned with a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The hill is full of paths and narrow roads which are enjoyable walks. Time free at leisure to explore The Mall at your own.
Day 10: Shimla - Kalka – Delhi
After breakfast drive to Kalka, to board train to Delhi/ next destination / Drive down to Delhi.
