The Chail Residency, residing in the shelter of virgin forests, at a height of 2250 meters, all the while accessible to our budding travelers and tourists by road from the Kalka via Kandaghat (shy of Shimla by a mere 32 kilometers) which is conveniently located on the Kandaghat-Chail road, making it easily accessible to our prospective guests. Set amidst the scenic and scented forests of pine and deodar, Chail was once the summer getaway for the Maharaja of Patiala. Come through to see what the Maharaja himself thought to be a vacation destination! The verdant forests near Chail Residency are no less than a living and breathing organism with abundant magnificence, full of life with many species of birds, the barking deer, wild boars, and pheasants.
