Taj Mahal: Guide Best Time to Visit, Timings, Entry Ticket fee

Introduction: A typical symbol of enduring love-Tajmahal majestically stands on the bank of river Yamuna in Agra. It is a living embodiment of the flowing love of a husband towards his beloved wife. Shahjahan- king of the world, assembled the most talented artisans to build a mausoleum for his wife. It portrays the artistic accomplishment of the Mughal king.

Even though he was a powerful Sultan, fate had other plans for him when ot snatched his wife from him. Begum bound him with a promise to build a beautiful monument for her, which the powerful sultan complied with. We at Japji Travels make your dream come true by planning the trip by providing tour packages for one, two or three days at different prices.

Foreigners will get one bottled drink, an Agra map to guide them inside the monument, a golf cart service and a shoe cover when they pay the entry fees. Children less than 15 years old need not take tickets.

Best time to visit Tajmahal:

Summer will be the best time to visit TajMahal. You can visit this monument from March to June and avoid November to February. During winter, you can't enjoy the beauty of Tajmahal as snow blankets it, restricting a clear view of it.

Try to visit this monument before the crack of dawn as it appears very beautiful with the tender touch of sunrays during twilight. Waking up a little early will fetch a reward for photophiles. Morning is the perfect time if you want to enjoy alone. On the flip side, visiting the Tajmahal at sunset can be a good experience as the temperature is pleasant, and the monument shines in the moonlight. During this time, it may have many visitors.

Who would not like to enjoy magic? The best time to visit Tajmahal would be a couple of days before or after the new moon. The sky will bear the reflection of the beautiful monument in its lap - a wonderful sight to behold! Visiting this place between July and September can be a bad idea as this place will receive heavy rain.

Taj Mahal timings: From dawn 6 AM to dusk 6 PM, this monument is open for public visit except on Fridays. Muslims can only visit here on Friday afternoons for prayers. It is also open from 8.30 PM till 12.30 AM. It is when the viewers get a mesmerising view of its shadow in the sky. These are the daily Taj Mahal timings.
