A2. Weekday adult charges are fifty rupees whereas children below 12 years are charged ten rupees each. On Weekends (SAT & SUN) & Gazetted Holidays, the fee for adult Indians is Rs.100/- and for children Rs.20/-.
A3. Real size models dominate the collection of the National Rail Museum that presents a wide array of railroad equipment and rolling stock from princely states of the Indian Subcontinent. Specific features are the Patiala State MonoRail ( PSMT) and the John Morris Fire Engine, the only operational transportation and fire fighting museum pieces in the world. Also, one can find documents, maps, drawings, books and many other exhibits that have been preserved to tell a tale of the Indian Railway, which is over 160 years old.
