History of Jaisalmer War Museum

Jaisalmer War Museum has an important link with the history which is built in the memory of the Indian heroes, the 1971 and 1965 Thar battles between the Pakistani army at the Indian border post of Longewala, as well as the Indian defences. In the battle Indian soldiers were faced with several Hunter fighter aircraft and 40-45 tanks with 2000-3000 Pakistani soldiers. Exhibition at Jaisalmer War Museum

An amazing collection of guns, vehicles, and other equipment from numerous conflicts are on display at the Jaisalmer War Museum.
