Kerala folklore theatre and museum set in Thevara, Kochi, Kerala, India is a magnificent experience of architectural beauty and traditional performing arts of southern India. The museum undoubtedly owns the most unique and largest collection of Stone, Bronze and wood Sculptures, masks, musical instruments, costumes of traditional and ritual art forms along with traditional jewellery, shadow puppets and string puppets. The museum also has a remarkable cane collection along with many manuscripts of rare medicinal and astrological secrets.

'Limca Books of Records' has certified the museum for the best National achievement.

Remarkable collection of artifacts. Some rickshaws apparently pretend they don't know the place because the museum refused to give them a "cut" of the revenue, so you might need to persevere and ask a few drivers. It is close to Sarovaram restaurant, which is GREAT, so worth combining them for a nice half day trip from Fort Kochin.
