Although many travelers visit Rohtang Pass during the summer break between May and June when the snow melts and the weather clears up. However, it gets a little crowded. Further, you may have to struggle a bit to arrange a permit for Rohtang Pass during summers because of an overflow of tourists. Not to forget the long traffic jams and hiked hotel charges.

Rohtang pass receives heavy snowfall during winters obstructing the highway. Therefore, it stays closed for tourism throughout winters. The months of July and August are not ideal for sightseeing either.   • Vashisht Hot Water Springs – These are natural Sulphur springs named after Rishi Vashishth, who meditated in the nearby village.
