Which Countries Welcome Vaccinated Visitors?

With certain exceptions, the following countries recognize travelers who can demonstrate they have been immunized against COVID-19. It should be noted that not all nationalities are permitted entry. Always double-check before you fly and think about how your travel insurance can be affected.

1. Greece

Greece is increasingly opening its borders in a secure and feasible manner. The soft opening on April 19th came with a few travel restrictions that will be lifted soon for the full opening next month. Updated details on the full opening date, May 14th, will be released in due course.

If the traveler has finished his or her vaccinations (i.e., 14 days have passed after the previous injection, based on the doses required) and has a vaccination certificate, confirmation of a negative examination is not required.

2. Iceland

Fully vaccinated passengers (including those from the United States) are not required to be screened or quarantined. Travelers from outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland, on the other hand, are not permitted until they have been vaccinated and must pre-register and take two tests after arrival, as well as a quarantine for five days in between the two tests.

3. Poland

You may reach Poland from any Schengen country or by plane from Georgia, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, Thailand, South Korea, Tunisia, or Australia. If arriving by public transportation, people can be expected to self-isolate for 10 days. Check with the airlines for more details.

Currently, flights from other countries are not allowed to arrive in Poland.

Note: Please keep in mind that this is not an exhaustive list of all nations. We will make every effort to keep this page up to date with the most recent border closures and openings, but please review your government travel advisory and local news outlets for the most up-to-date details. If a country isn't listed here, make sure to search for any limitations they might have in place.
