How to stay fit and healthy while travelling
Traveling is the adventurous part of our life and as humans, we love to adventure. As a keen lover of traveling, I can't stay calm without it. But at the same time maintaining good health while traveling is also quite challenging for me. Over time I have realized the kinds of stuff that I must carry during any travel. We will be discussing that shorty in the blog.
The most vital thing we must carry with us is water. Sometimes we drink water from the local taps while wandering. This is not a habit I encourage. It will cause you some serious health hazards. Instead, we can buy packed waters. Also, dehydration is common during traveling, especially in hills. From personal experience, I can share one incident with you. When we went to visit Kashmir as we were heading up to a Pahalgam by car my mom started shivering like anything due to dehydration. It was hard for her to even breathe. To avoid such conditions we have to drink plenty of water during the journey especially when you are in a hot and humid or high altitude area. Carry a water bottle with you and refill it with fresh water.

Know What To Do and Don't While Travel
Next, come into the picture is food. Our health, mind, the overall sanity depends on this. Sometimes it becomes tough to cope up with the regional foods. We tend to either skip meals or eat less. Most importantly we should never skip breakfast which causes a lack of stamina and we tend to sick during vacations. While traveling I usually try to stick to my morning food habits like having green veggies, fruits, soup, etc. We should stay away from roadside uncooked foods. As it leads to food poisoning. I have seen many travelers falling sick, vomiting during the whole journey. So we as a traveler should always keep that in mind and refrain from having the uncooked foods. Having said that some of us love to explore new foods or local cuisine in a new city or country. We have to be smart while choosing our meals. I always keep some dry fruits, biscuits, and healthy snacks with me, it will provide the necessary nutrition, energy to survive. We can carry some essential supplements. Hand hygiene is also something we never forget. We have to use sanitizer before having every meal.

As a traveler, I need to nourish my mind along with my body. I usually start my day with some warmups it can be yoga, it can be stretching, running. It helps me to relax and maintain good health and mind while traveling also. You can try meditation. It is also a very good technique to start your day with positive vibes. We tend to gain during traveling as it involves long hours of sitting in the vehicle. Try to stay active whenever you get the opportunity, walk shorter distances instead of a car or any transportation, take stairs instead of lift if possible. Also, I believe that you will discover so much more on foot. You can choose to hike as it will be the best experience to remember. You will even forget that you are exercising. You can go cycling and exploring yourself. Make sure to have your phone and google maps(GPS) with yourself. You can try water sports similarly. If you are a gym person, don't skip your workouts. You can either find local gyms or do stretching in the hotel room itself.
I always carry sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen creams for my skin because the sun is not our friend. I have realized this from my last visited tour to Andamans. We have to mindful of sunstroke and body tan. Also, take necessary measures to stay away from mosquitoes to prevent disease. Try to avoid local washrooms if possible as they will not be so hygienic for you. Female travelers should carry pee safe with them.
Taking rest is also an important part while wandering. Six hours of sleep is always desirable. Five hours can also be accepted while we are on a vacation. But not less than that.
Finally, last but not least Traveling is all about quality, not quantity. Be relax and chill, don't stress about anything. When I was a new traveler I used to take so much stress about almost everything. Don't force yourself to cover every single destination, be slow, enjoy your current tour.
