Rani Ki Vav
Rani ki Vav, also known as Queen's Step-wall, is the amazing stepwell situated in Patan town of Gujarat. It is one of the oldest and finest step-walls of Gujarat. This step-wall is constructed with multi-storied pavilions having circular pillars. The interiors of these pillared pavilions are carved with more than 800 beautiful sculptures of Gods, Goddesses, and other Hindu themes.
The step-wall is made in the form of an inverted temple and represents the craftsmanship and architecture of that era. It was built in 1063 by Rani Udayamati (wife of king Bhimadeva) to commemorate her husband. Since 2014, Rani ki Vav is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Gir National Park
Gir National Park is the forest and wildlife sanctuary in Gujarat. It is the land of Asiatic lions and wildlife creatures. It is considered the most protected area in Asia due to its unsupported species.
