WHY HAS BEEN HERE?
Bora Bora is an island in the Society archipelago chain of French Polynesia. Because it is a relatively small island, there is no international airport, only a local airport between the islands of the country. You have to get to Tahiti, the largest and most populous island in French Polynesia, and from there take a 45-minute flight on "Air Tahiti" to Bora Bora. Even the Bora Bora airport is on a small island (not on the main Bora Bora island) and from there you can take boats to different hotels. Larger hotels have a private boat service from the airport directly to the hotel. The airport offers a free transfer by big boat to the main village of Vaitape, from where you can catch a taxi to any hotel on the big main island. All hotels have white sandy beaches with golden sands. Bora Bora is one of the oldest islands in the island chain and is therefore rich in beautiful sandy beaches. Each of the main resorts looks like a picturesque postcard with a warm welcome that includes a necklace of fragrant flowers and natural tropical juices, you will feel like you have stepped foot in paradise.

For many people, a vacation in Bora Bora is simply relaxing on the beach, enjoying the hotel, and getting well-deserved rest. However, if you want to get out and explore this amazing atoll, there are plenty of fun activities on offer.
Take a helicopter
Helicopter rides are a great way to get a great view of Bora Bora without having to scramble for a window seat. You can choose between two options to visit the Shades of Blue and the Heart of Tubuai. I think the Shades of Blue tour gives you the best view of the perfectly clear lagoon, while the Heart of Tupuai reveals the breathtaking Tupuai Island. Near Bora Bora, Tupuai is beautifully formed into a heart, adding an extra layer of romance. We can book either of these tours as part of your stay - just ask us for advice.
Standing paddle
The calm, blue waters of the Bora Bora lagoon are ideal for stand-up paddleboarding. If you've never tried stand-up paddleboarding before, there's no better place to learn. Swim through the crystal clear lagoon, watch dozens of tropical fish scurry beneath you and soak up the scenery. It's a great way to explore and a peaceful way to spend an afternoon.
