India International Trade Fair

The 41st India International Trade Fair (IITF) opens today at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will begin the expo, which will run till November 27th. The trade fair's theme this year is Vocal for Local, Local to Global. The 14-day epic event takes on added significance because it overlaps with the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' festivities.

The event, which is organized by the India Trade Promotion Organization, is one of the world's largest trade fairs in terms of exhibitor and visitor participation. Since its start in 1980, it has developed into a prominent worldwide event that attracts corporate communities from all over the world, as well as an equally passionate turnout of consumers and tourists.

The IITF framework weaves together Business, Social, Cultural, and Educational Dimensions where exhibitors and visitors, media, marketing experts, social activists, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) join together to explore their aims. A variety of government organizations utilize this platform to raise public awareness about their programs and policies. As a result, practically all of the Federal Government of India's States and Union Territories participate in this event.
